The oils I use for treatments are organic and of the highest quality from www.naturallythinking.com . They are nourishing to your skin and beneficial to your health.
I like to use a luxurious blend of both sweet almond oil and jojoba which suits all skin types and leaves your skin feeling soft and satiny. I also have grapeseed oil available for those with a nut allergy. The benefits of these oils are below.
Sweet Almond Oil
Sweet Almond is lubricating but not penetrating, which makes it an excellent massage oil and protectant. It leaves the skin soft and satiny without being greasy. Sweet Almond Oil is widely used in cosmetics, massage and body products for its rich properties.
It is softening, revitalising and nourishing to the skin. It is rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E and in fatty acids and proteins. It is a great moisturiser and suitable for all skin types.
Tip
For strong healthy nails, massage sweet almond oil into cuticles daily.
Jojoba
Jojoba is the liquid wax produced in the seed of the Jojoba plant. Jojoba is one of the most important oils in skin care use as it is chemically very similar to human sebum.
I use organic, coldpressed, unrefined Jojoba oil as it is this Jojoba which is richest in its natural properties.
The oil makes for excellent skincare products which moisturise, nourish and protect. Jojoba also has a natural SPF of 5 which further enhances its skin caring benefits.
Jojoba contains Vitamin A, Vitamin B1, Vitamin B2, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E (RICH IN), Myristic Acid, Plant Wax (mimics skins collagen).
Tip
Use Jojoba as a summer hair oil, the Jojoba will help nourish the hair, whilst providing the scalp with a natural SPF of 5
Grapeseed Oil
A light green oil which is pressed from the seeds of various varieties of Vitis vinifera grapes, an abundant by-product of winemaking.
Due to the high linoleic acid value (greater than most other carrier oils), the oil is highly moisturising and is light for use in skin care. The oil absorbs very quickly into the skins pores making this excellent for a variety of skincare applications.
Grapeseed is especially useful for skin types that do not absorb oils too well and it does not leave a greasy feeling. It contains Vitamin A Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Grapeseed has natural non-allergenic properties.
Grapeseed is an excellent massage oil, being suitable on a wide variety of skin types and those with nut allergies.
